It was the same show. Not the show with the first game against Khulna, no. This is the new Kings, they are invigorated, rejuvenated and confident. They took the game away again at the last few overs of the batting as they did with Dynamites.
Confident from the last win, captain Sammy chose to bat first after winning the toss. The pitch was slow and hitting was a tough job. Early loss of wickets and bogged down run rates were causing a bit of tensions among the fans and supporters. Patel, Junaid, Sabbir – each of them failed to prolong their innings. But it was again the skipper to the rescue, he bashed the Titans bowlers like meat puppets and scored an incredible 71 off just 34 balls. In the end the last 4 overs produced 58 runs which was the turning point.
With the bowl, again the Kings bowlers displayed their intelligence and slowed down the Titans scoring wheels. Mohammad Sami and nazmul Apu were the pick off the match. They bowled brilliantly at the death of the match. Especially Farhad Reza who handled the pressure and bowled a brilliant last over to take the Kings to their third consecutive win.
Kings are just coming alive and all the big names should be afraid, very afraid. Because the Kings are coming for you!
